Dinner Program: Tricks of the Trade, Jacqueline Y. Miller, moderator. When it comes to studying moths and butterflies, there is always something new to learn. The same thing is true when we go into the field or observe Lepidoptera. We all have those special things that we do or take into the field whether it is a special bait mixture, method for dispatching specimens, field forms (habitats, flowers in bloom), light set ups, methods for recording behavioral observations other than digital film clips, etc.). If you have something to contribute, please contact and/or send images in advance to Jacqueline Miller (jmiller@flmnh.ufl.edu) so that these can be organized and added to a PowerPoint presentation. Each contributor will have an opportunity to discuss or demonstrate techniques as part of collaborative discussion/powerpoint presentation following dinner.
Door Prizes: Please contact Charlie Covell (ccovell@flmnh.ufl.edu) and let him know as soon as possible if you will be bringing a door prize.
